The register contains all data of the financial service providers that – pursuant to Act CXXXIX of 2013 – are subject to oversight by MNB, or the publication of which is prescribed by other laws, or the publication of which the MNB deems essential to protect the investors. The public database contains the following:
organisations and persons holding an MNB licence or registered by the MNB offering financial services,
organisations offering financial services within the territory of Hungary supervised by foreign authorities,
data of funds managed by investment funds.
organisation for which MNB issued a warning,
organisation for which foreign co-authorities issued a warning.
Foreign tied agents on the capital market who are employed by a foreign cross-border institution in Hungary are registered in the member state of establishment. Similarly, a foreign tied agent of an investment service provider established in Hungary is in the public register of the foreign supervisory authority which is competent according to the domicile of the tied agent.
